Project Goals
To create a professional visual design and easy-to-use web site. The Smart Video Connection website is built on Drupal CMS. We customized the look and feel of the front-end and user back-end Drupal administration area as well. A major challenge of this project was to integrate the site with Kaltura’s online video platform. As users upload their videos through the site, the videos are uploaded to the Kaltura platform. Additionally, this site gives users the ability to manage videos, pre-roll, post-roll video and banner advertisements in Drupal which are automatically synchronized with Kaltura. We customized the Kaltura videos player to be branded and playback videos in HTML5 format for mobile optimization.
