Tax Compliance, Inc.’s LicenseHQ is a Web-based application for business license and permit compliance. LicenseHQ provides easy access to a centralized database of corporate licenses and permits from anywhere; manages the workflow for corporate license compliance; exports payment requests to Accounts Payable systems; accommodates federal, state, county and municipal licenses and permits; minimizes the impact of employee turnover and requires no IT involvement.

Project Goals
The goal of the license HQ project was to provided an improved user interface (UI) to their existing, legacy .NET application software. We interviewed key stakeholders and went through training on the software to better understand the software usability issues. We provided new visual design mock-ups to modernize the overall visual look and feel of the software. We skinned the final designs to be optimized for the required browsers.
For this particular software project, after skinning the the designs into clean HTML and CSS, we weaved the new design into the existing .NET software code. We customized master files, html and css as needed to apply the new design to a working development environment.
As smaller part of this project was to create a new logo and a new home page design look and feel that complemented the new software visual design.
